Chicken Enchilada Casserole
Chicken Enchilada Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stewed chicken, boned and cubed, 1 stick oleo, 2 pkg. tortillas (small size), 2 cans cream of chicken soup and 2 (4 oz.) cans green chilies, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Spread buttered tortillas in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish. Spread all of chicken over tortillas.
Sprinkle half of cheese over chicken.
In a saucepan, put onions, chilies, oleo, soup and milk. Simmer 10 minutes.
Pour over chicken layers.
Add another layer of tortillas and rest of cheese.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes or cover and freeze for later.
