Cole Slaw
Cole Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, 2 carrots, 1 green pepper, 1 tbsp. salt and 1 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cut cabbage, carrots and green pepper; mix together.
Put the salt on top of this.
Let stand 1 hour, then squeeze out and drain. Boil the vinegar, sugar, water and celery seed together for 1 minute.
Cool, then pour mixture over the drained cabbage.
May be frozen or kept in the refrigerator for over a week.
