German Chocolate Pound Cake

Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan and line the bottom with wax paper if desired.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then beat in eggs and egg yolk one at a time.

Blend in melted sweet chocolate.

Whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cream of tartar, and cinnamon.

Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk, mixing just until smooth.

Bake until a tester comes out clean, then cool before unmolding and slicing.
