Hot Salsa (Ciordia)
Hot Salsa (Ciordia) is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 c. jalapeño peppers, chopped, 3 c. onions, chopped, 1 1/2 c. distilled vinegar, 6 c. canned tomatoes, drained and 14 c. tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
👨🍳 Instructions
Place jalapeños, onions and vinegar in large nonaluminum pan. Simmer, partly covered, until soft.
Add remaining ingredients. Simmer about 40 minutes, until thickened and well-seasoned.
Pack into jars and seal.
Process in boiling water bath 35 minutes. Yields 22 cups.
