Hyeholde's Cheesecake
Hyeholde'S Cheesecake is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 lb. cream cheese, 11 oz. sugar, 10 oz. half and half, 5 large eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Add cream of tartar to egg whites and beat until foamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff.
Fold egg white mixture into base thoroughly and pour mixture into prepared pan.
Sprinkle with remaining crumbs and bake at 325Β° for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until firm.
Turn off oven; open door and leave in oven for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool on rack away from draft.
