Italian Cheesecake
Italian Cheesecake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 yellow cake mix, 4 eggs, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 (16 oz.) cartons ricotta cheese and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix cake according to directions on box and pour into pan.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat eggs into sugar, then add vanilla and Ricotta cheese and mix slightly.
Carefully pour this mixture over cake batter, not allowing mixture to touch the sides of the pan.
1 hour at 350Β° or until done.
Cool completely before adding cherry topping. Best served chilled.
