Kentucky Fried Chicken
Kentucky Fried Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. chicken pieces, 2 pkg. italian salad dressing mix, 3 tbsp. flour, 2 tsp. salt and 2 tbsp. oleo, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Wipe chicken pieces; combine salad dressing mix, flour, salt, butter and lemon juice.
Coat chicken pieces.
Put into a bowl; cover and refrigerate several hours.
Heat oil in large skillet. Combine pancake mix, paprika, sage and pepper.
Dip chicken pieces into milk, then pancake mixture.
Fry until lightly browned on each side; drain.
Place chicken in shallow pan; spoon remaining milk over the pieces and cover with foil.
Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.
Uncover and bake at 400° for 10 minutes more.
