Mexican Taco Casserole
Mexican Taco Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hamburger meat, 2 c. rice, cooked, 2 c. dry pinto beans, cooked, tortilla chips and small box american cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Cook hamburger meat and minced onion together, then drain.
Add taco sauce, salt and pepper and cook together for about 3 minutes.
Add rice and beans to hamburger mixture and stir together.
Take 9 x 13-inch casserole dish, pour tortilla chips on bottom then mash chips and sprinkle with water until they're moist.
Pour mixture on top of chips and layer top with American cheese.
Bake about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
