Midwestern Stir-Fry
Midwestern Stir-Fry is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. salad dressing, 2 tbsp. milk, 1/2 tsp. mustard, 1/2 lb. smoked sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices and halved and 3/4 c. yellow squash slices, halved, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix together salad dressing, mustard and milk until well blended; set aside.
Combine sausage, peppers and onions in a medium bowl.
Microwave on High for 2 minutes.
Stir in squash. Continue microwaving on High for 2 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Add salad dressing mixture; mix lightly.
Microwave on Medium (50%) for 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring after 2 minutes (do not overcook).
Serve over rice. Makes 4 servings.
