Nanna's and Mommy's Hamburger Stew
Nanna'S And Mommy'S Hamburger Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck, 1 large onion, chopped, about 4 carrots (large), grated, about 5 potatoes (medium), grated and 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef bouillon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Brown meat in a Dutch oven.
Add chopped onion and brown in meat drippings.
(If there's too much fat, remove some before adding onion.)
Add grated carrot and potato, beef bouillon and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring just to the boil, then reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook about 40 minutes.
(Check periodically. If not much liquid remains, add water or more bouillon.)
Serve with baking powder biscuits.
