Quick "7 Minute" Frosting
Quick "7 Minute" Frosting is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg white (unbeaten), 1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup, 3/4 c. sugar, dash of salt and 3 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Put egg white, sugar, water, corn syrup and salt in top of double boiler.
Mix thoroughly and place over rapidly boiling water.
Beat until mixture will hold a peak (about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes).
Remove from over boiling water.
Add vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread (about one minute).
Makes enough frosting to cover tops of two 8 or 9-inch layers.
