Rice Pulao with Peas
Rice Pulao With Peas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 6 cloves, 2 small pieces cinnamon, 1 tsp. turmeric and 1 tsp. caraway seed (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Heat butter in a heavy pan.
Add cloves and cinnamon.
Add turmeric and caraway seed.
Fry spices slowly for a minute over low heat.
Add rice, peas and salt.

Add hot water; bring to a boil.
Then turn the heat very low and cook for 15 to 20 minutes with the lid on.
Add hard-boiled eggs, if desired.
