Sauerkraut and Dumplings
Sauerkraut And Dumplings is an easy dinner. Made with 2 (16 oz.) or 1 large can sauerkraut, 6 nice pork chops minus bones or any other pork, 1 to 2 tsp. flour and 1 recipe potato dumplings, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Layer pork chops or pork meat with sauerkraut in a pressure cooker, Dutch oven or in an ovenproof casserole.
Add 2 cups water and bake or cook until pork is so tender, it breaks apart when prodded with a fork (in pressure cooker, about 20 to 25 minutes). Remove sauerkraut and meat pieces to a bowl with a slotted spoon. Just slightly thicken the liquid in the pot and season with salt, pepper or beef bouillon as needed.
Mix liquid into sauerkraut to make a nice moist casserole consistency.
Add the dumplings and then serve with applesauce on the side.
