Steamed Chinese Broccoli
Steamed Chinese Broccoli is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli, 2 tbsp. peanut oil or salad oil, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. toasted sesame seed and red pepper slices, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Rinse broccoli.
Peel tough outer stalks, pulling up from ends of stalks.
Slice diagonally into bite-size pieces.
Steam about 5 minutes or until barely tender.
Heat the oil and soy sauce.
Toss in broccoli.
Heat 1 to 2 minutes longer.
Place in serving dish. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seed and red pepper slices and serve. Makes 4 servings.
