Wild Rice Oven Pilaf
Wild Rice Oven Pilaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. boiling water, 1 tbsp. butter, 1/2 c. regular brown rice, 1/2 c. chopped onion and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, combine boiling water and butter; stir until butter is melted.
Stir in brown rice, wild rice, onion, salt and pepper.
Cover.
Bake in a 375Β° oven for 70 minutes, stirring once.
Stir in carrots and frozen peas.
Cover and bake about 10 minutes more or until rice is tender.
Sprinkle pecans on top.
Makes 4 to 6 side dish servings.
