Baozi (Chinese Dumplings)
Baozi (Chinese Dumplings) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. home style biscuits, 1/2 lb. ground beef or pork, 10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach, thawed, soy sauce and sesame oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cook and crumble meat.
Squeeze thawed spinach to remove water.
Mix spinach, meat, soy sauce and sesame oil to taste. Stack 2 biscuits and flatten to 1/4-inch round.
Put spoonful of filling in center and pinch edges together.
Place on rack over (not in) boiling water and steam 15 minutes.
Makes 15; good hot or cold.
