Chinese Pepper Steak
Chinese Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 1 1/2 lb. round or flake steak, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. ginger, 1/2 tsp sugar and 1/4 c. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Slice meat diagonally into thin strips.
Combine cornstarch, sugar and ginger; stir into soy sauce.
Pour mixture over meat. Stir; marinate for several hours or overnight.
Cut peppers into wedges.
Quickly brown meat in hot oil, about half at a time; remove from pan and keep warm.
Lower heat; add peppers, garlic and water.
Cook until peppers are tender crisp (5 minutes).
Stir meat back back into pan; add tomatoes.
Heat and serve.
Good served over rice.
Can be made in crock-pot.
Also stew beef can be used instead of steak.
