Chocolate Ice Cream
Chocolate Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. milk, heated, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. cornstarch and 8 tbsp. cocoa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix sugar, salt, cornstarch and cocoa.
Add enough milk to make thickening.
Add to heated milk and bring to rolling boil. Pour slowly beaten eggs, beating all the time. Add
1 3/4 cups sugar.
Strain into 6 quart ice cream freezer. Add cream and vanilla cream or milk, if needed. Yields 6 quart freezer.
