Fried Corn
Fried Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 ears fresh corn, 1/4 c. bacon fat or shortening, 2 tbsp. flour, 1 tbsp. sugar and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Shuck corn.
Remove corn silk and wash each ear of corn.
Cut kernels off the corn, using the down stroke of a sharp knife to remove.
Then cut close to the cob again with knife's sharp edge. (This is referred to as cream-style cutting.)
Scrape juice out of the corn by passing the knife once more over the cob.
