Honey-Milk Fried Chicken
Honey-Milk Fried Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 fryer, cut up, or 6 chicken breasts, 4 c. water, 3 c. milk, 1 tbsp. honey or molasses and 2 c. flour (self-rising), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Put cut up parts of chicken in large round bowl.
Mix milk, water, salt, pepper, molasses or honey (honey preferred) together; pour over chicken.
Put in fridge; let set for 1 hour.
Have flour in flat container.
Take chicken out of milk; roll in flour, then put in medium-high oil pan and cook on medium heat until brown on both sides.
Turn heat to medium; cook for 10 or 15 minutes, until done.
