Hungarian Goulash
Hungarian Goulash is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 20 minutes. Made with to 2 lb. stew meat, onion, chopped, salt, pepper and paprika, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat oil in large pan.
Add beef cubes, brown them on all sides, stirring every couple of minutes.
Add 1 onion, chopped. Continue browning meat-onion mixture for a minute or so.
Sprinkle flour on mix, stirring constantly, adding water slowly to prevent clumping of flour.
Season with salt, pepper and paprika.
Sauce should be spicy.
Simmer slowly for 1 hour stirring occasionally. Serve over cooked noodles or rice with a salad.
