Jambalaya
Jambalaya is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. diced ham, 2 c. shrimp, cleaned and cooked, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped green pepper and 1 crushed garlic clove, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Saute onion, green pepper and garlic in oil in large saucepan. Stir in ham, crushed tomatoes, water, seasonings and rice.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat; boil gently covered for 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
Stir occasionally.
Add shrimp.
Cook 5 more minutes.
Remove bay leaf and serve.
