Jambalaya
Jambalaya is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. hot sausage, 1 large onion, 1 green pepper, 2 c. water and 1 c. rice (not instant), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix rice, water and margarine together; cook 20 minutes.
Brown sausage, onion and green pepper; drain fat.
Add can of tomato sauce and kidney beans (drained).
When rice is cooked, add sausage mixture together, then add salsa.
Mix all together.
This is spicy.
You can use regular sausage if you don't like real spicy food.
Serve with a green salad.
Serves 4 to 6.
