Jambalaya
Jambalaya is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 medium onion, 1 c. bell pepper, 2 cloves garlic, minced and 1 lb. pkg. sausage, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Melt butter in large heavy saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add onion, bell pepper, garlic and sausage.
Cook 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring often.
Stir in rice, chicken broth, Tabasco sauce, tomatoes and seasoning.
Mix well and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
Remove from heat and let sit 5 minutes longer before fluffing with a fork.
Serves 6.
