Boil chicken until very tender; remove from bone and cut up or shred.
Cook limas until tender with diced onion.
Add chicken, limas, corn, tomatoes, garlic, cayenne, salt and pepper (do not drain limas, corn or tomatoes) to reserved broth.
Add more broth if needed (canned).
Simmer on medium-low about 1/2 hour.
Thicken, if desired.
Serve with corn bread.
