Salmon Burgers
Salmon Burgers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 16 oz. canned salmon, 1/4 c. oil, 1/3 c. salmon liquid, 1/4 c. parsley and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Drain salmon, reserving 1/3 cup liquid.
Flake.
Cook onion in oil until tender.
Add salmon liquid, 1/3 cup crumbs, eggs, spices and salmon; mix well.
Shape into 6 cakes; roll in crumbs.
Fry in a heavy pan in about 1/8 inch of oil over moderate heat.
Brown on one side.
Turn carefully; brown on other side.
Total cooking time is 5 to 8 minutes.
Drain on paper towel.
Place on buns. Serve with lemon wedges.
