Swiss Steak is an easy dinner. Made with round steak, cut into serving pieces, flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cut round steak into serving pieces.
Pound flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt into steak.
Brown in fry pan on both sides.
Place in dutch oven.
Add hot water to meat drippings in pan.
Add a little flour, bring to boil and pour over meat.
This should be thin as it thickens while baking.
Bake in a slow oven (300Β°) for about 3 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes.
