Caramel Ice Cream
Caramel Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 tbsp. sugar, 4 c. milk, 2 c. sugar, 5 or 6 eggs and 1 c. condensed milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Caramelize the 12 tablespoons sugar.
Melt in iron skillet. While this is melting, scald 4 cups milk (not boil).
Pour the milk over melted sugar, stirring until melted again.
Separate the eggs, saving whites (to beat later).
Beat egg yolks with sugar (2 cups), flour and can of milk.
Add to first mixture; cook until thick.
Let this cool, then beat egg whites and fold in.
Add vanilla.
Add enough milk to fill freezer.
This makes 1 gallon of ice cream.
