Cream of Broccoli Soup
Cream Of Broccoli Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth, 2 (10 oz. each) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, 1 small bay leaf, 1/4 c. butter or margarine and 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Pour broth over broccoli and bay leaf in 3-quart pan.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer 5 minutes.
In a frying pan, melt butter and stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook 1 minute.
Stir in milk to make a smooth sauce. Remove bay leaf from broccoli.
Pour small amounts of broccoli and liquid into blender.
Process until smooth.
Pour back into pan and stir in milk sauce.
Heat and serve.
Makes 6 cups.
