French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. beef bouillon or brown stock, 3 medium yellow onions, thinly sliced, 3 tbsp. butter, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Pour bouillon or stock in crock-pot.
Cook onions slowly in butter for 15 minutes in large covered skillet; stir occasionally. Uncover and add salt, sugar, flour and vermouth.
Stir well.
Add to stock in crock-pot, cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, on high for 3 hours.
