Italian Spaghetti
Italian Spaghetti is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 2 c. chopped onions, 2 c. chopped celery, 1 c. tomato sauce and 1 c. grated cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat half the fat in iron pan; crumble meat in and cook until slightly brown, stirring to cook well.
Use other fats to cook onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic to yellow stage; do not brown.
Add this to meat mixture, also tomatoes, tomato sauce and other seasonings and simmer for 1 hour; remove from heat, add cheese and mix well.
Have spaghetti cooked and fill casserole, using alternate layers of spaghetti and sauce; top with a small amount of cheese and heat until it bubbles.
You may prefer to serve on platter, pour sauce over and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
