Mom's Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream
Mom'S Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. milk, 1 can evaporated milk, 1/2 c. cornstarch, 1 c. cocoa and 3 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Heat the of milk and evaporated milk in a large kettle.
The cornstarch, salt, cocoa and sugar in the one cup of milk.
When the milk in the kettle starts to steam, add the other mixture and the egg yolk mixture.
Cook until thick like pudding, gelatin has been dissolved in little bit of water.
Cool, refrigerate until ready to put into the ice cream freezer.
When ready to make the ice cream, add to the cooled mixture: the quart of cream, vanilla and stiffly beaten egg whites.
