Oysters Wrapped in Bacon
Oysters Wrapped In Bacon is an easy dinner. Made with 1 pt. extra select (large) oysters, 10-12 slices bacon and cheese (your favorite....muenster, swiss, cheddar, etc.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 450Β°. Drain oysters and dry on paper towel. Cut bacon slices in half and lay an oyster on each piece. Cut a piece of cheese to fit on top, and fasten bacon around both with a toothpick.
Place oysters close together in a shallow baking dish, and cook about 10 minutes until bacon is crisp.
Can be served as hor d'oeuvres, or at a luncheon or dinner.
