Braised Short Ribs
Braised Short Ribs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 lb. beef short ribs, 1 c. chopped onion, 1 crushed clove garlic, 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth and 2 tbsp. steak sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a 12-inch Dutch oven, brown ribs (fat side down) for 30 minutes.
Discard drippings.
Add onions, garlic, beef broth, steak sauce, marjoram, peppercorns, bay leaf and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil and then simmer, covered, for 2 hours. Remove meat and skim fat from Dutch oven.
Mix flour with 1/2 cup water. Stir into Dutch oven and boil for 3 minutes. Pour over ribs.
