Strawberry Bavarian Cream
Strawberry Bavarian Cream is a molded dessert made with mashed fresh strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, unflavored gelatin, and whipped cream. After a long chill, it unmolds into a soft pink cream with fresh berry flavor throughout.
Sprinkle the lemon juice over the mashed strawberries and stir in the sugar.
Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water in a cup to soften it.
Stir in the boiling water until the gelatin dissolves, then cool to room temperature.
Pour the dissolved gelatin into a medium bowl.
Whip the cream until soft peaks form.
Fold the whipped cream and mashed berries into the gelatin mixture.
Pour into a wet mold and chill for 12 hours before unmolding.
