Low Cholesterol Apple-Oat Bran Muffins is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour, 1 c. oat bran, 1/3 c. brown sugar, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Stir together all dry ingredients.
In small bowl, combine buttermilk, egg whites and oil.
Add to dry ingredients; stir until moistened.
Add apples.
Spoon about 1/4 cup batter into muffin pan that has been sprayed with Pam coating.
Bake at 375Β° for 18 to 20 minutes.
Makes 12 muffins.
