Steak and Potato Casserole
Steak And Potato Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 tbsp. butter or margarine, 4 or 5 cube steaks, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. dry mustard and 1 can mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In large skillet, melt butter; saute onions until tender. Remove from skillet.
Brown meat and remove.
To pan drippings, add flour, salt, pepper and dry mustard.
Remove from heat. Gradually stir in milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick.
Cook an additional 2 minutes.
Stir in mushrooms and parsley.
In 2-quart shallow casserole, layer potatoes, onions and steak.
Pour sauce over all.
Cover with foil; bake in a 350Β° preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
Serves 4 to 5.
