Sautéed Reindeer
Sauteed reindeer is a Nordic skillet dish of thin reindeer slices cooked with butter and beer or stock, served over mashed potatoes with lingonberries and pickles.

Freeze the meat briefly so it can be shaved into very thin slices.
Brown onion in butter, then add the meat and saute quickly until the edges color.
